Pointe de Penmarc'h

The Phare d'Eckmühl, also known as Point Penmarc'h Light or Saint-Pierre Light, is the active lighthouse of Penmarc'h (Finistère department, Brittany, France).
At a height of 213 feet (65 m) it is one of the tallest lighthouses in the world. It is located at the port of Saint-Pierre, on the Pointe de Penmarc'h and its light is visible up to 60 miles.

The territory of the Pointe de Penmarc'h is particularly flat. There are many marshy lagoons, some of which have been drained and filled, to save space or habitat for the installation of local handicrafts.
