Phare de Ploumanac'h (Perros-Guirec) - Phare de Pontusval (Brignogan) - Phare de Kermorvan (Le Conquet) - Phare et Sémaphore de Saint-Mathieu (Plougonvelin) - Phare du Petit Minou (Plouzané)
The main attraction of Ploumanac'h is the area around the lighthouse, Le Phare de Men Ruz. The lighthouse with the few houses is surrounded by great boulders of pink granit.
This area is probably the most beautiful part of the Côte de Granite Rose.
The Phare de Pontusval was built in 1869 to alert ships to the dangerous reefs running along the Côte des Légendes.
The lighthouse of Kermorvan is located northwest of the village of Le Conquet in the Finistère district of Brittany (Bretagne).
It was built in 1849 on a rock at the point of the Kermorvan peninsula and is the most western French lighthouse on the main land.
The lighthouse of Saint-Mathieu is located on the headland Pointe de Saint-Mathieu. It was built in 1835 among the ruins of the ancient Abbaye Saint-Mathieu de Fine-Terre which was said to have held the skull of the apostle Matthew... Le Phare de Saint-Mathieu is a major lighthouse of the French coast with a range of 29 nautical miles. Along with the lighthouse of Kermorvan it signals the direction of the Chenal du Four, the passage between the mainland and the isle of Ouessant. The actual semaphore was built in 1906 as a watchpoint overlooking the Chenal du Four and the narrows of Brest harbour.
The lighthouse of Le Petit Minou is situated in the Goulet de Brest. The Goulet de Brest is a 3km long strait linking the roadstead of Brest, Rade de Brest, to the Atlantic Ocean. It indicates the safe route to follow for ships entering the roadstead. A red signal indicates a dangerous sector around the plateau of Les Filettes, one of the submerged rocks in the Goulet de Brest.
